Remarks: 34 string lever harp in mahogany finish with a decorated soundboard with traditional Celtic interlace and Celtic dragon knot work. This harp was bought from Clive Morley Harps and made in 2002.
Hempsons are a great entry-level choice for beginner harpists and hobbyists as a practice harp. It has colour coded, metal levers and three detachable legs to allow easy height adjustment. Strings are Bow Brand natural gut or nylon with metal bass wires. It has not been played much over the past few years but it has a clear and bright sound. It has only been played at home and has been looked after and regularly tuned.
There are a few blemishes and scuffs (please see pictures) but these are superficial and do not affect the sound quality or playability. This would make an affordable harp for beginner students. It comes with tuning key.
Cover/dust jacket not included but this is reflected in the price. Open to realistic offers.
