Type: Pedal
Style: Starke
Price: £14,000.00 o.n.o.
Remarks: 44 string pedal harp with extended, decorated soundboard.
This harp is in very good condition and has a big, bright sound. It also has the advantage of wide spacing in the top register. It was last serviced and regulated by Pilgrim harps.
Comes with a house cover and tuning key.
This is a lovely example of an older make of harp when instruments were handmade and not factory produced. The actions were assembled by one technician, Emil Holub, and the quality of the work meant that harps were made to last. The neck and board are in very good shape. Slightly smaller than a full sized concert grand but with its beautiful gold decoration, it would be a perfect instrument for a harpist on the concert or functions circuit.
