Remarks: This lovely 45 string harp belonged to the English harpist Jean Bell (1928-2014), who was Principle Harpist for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic (1949-52) and then for the Hallé Orchestra for over forty years.
Bought as a first pedal harp for a young musician, it is slightly less imposing than a Concert Grand.
The tone is full and rich, and would be a rewarding instrument for a young harpist or developing amateur.
Last serviced in April 2019 by Alan Harbour of Munson and Harbour, it has not been moved since getting home and has only been played to regularly tune.
The covers it came with are in good condition although the harp is not really suitable for copious travel.
