About This Harp

43 string pedal harp in rosewood with pine veneer soundboard. This beautiful harp underwent a full professional restoration by Steffan Jones in 2023, including manufacture of a new neck, new soundbox and soundboard. There was also a full repair and re-gilding of all gold leaf decorations, all mechanical parts were serviced and the brass-work was polished. Finally it was fully restrung with new gut strings and bass wires. It was recently regulated in October 2024 and it plays as it would have done when new. It comes with a tuning key and I can include a printout of this harp's entry in the Sebastian Erard ledgers, stating when it was built and for whom.
