About This Harp

A rare, original Style 22 Lyon and Healy harp manufactured in 1934. The gold version of this popular harp features 22-karat gold leaf gilding applied by hand, which has kept well for its age. This 46 string harp, has a rich, resonant and warm tone with a full bass register and clear singing treble. It projects powerfully and fills a concert hall well. It has mostly been played ‘in house’ and for private recitals. Itis In excellent condition, with some cosmetic marks. There is no movement in the neck and the soundboard is also in excellent condition.
