About This Harp

A beautiful 34 string Teifi Gwennol lever harp in excellent playing condition, purchased by me from Teifi Harps in 2015 and lovingly cared for ever since. It has been sensibly priced to reflect its excellent condition and the included accessories. This harp has been a faithful companion for many years, having the warm, rich and resonant voice for which Teifi harps are so well regarded, with a beautifully balanced tone across the entire range. The harp is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. It has always been treated with great care and kept covered when not in use. It has a small scratch and a ding to the woodwork (see photos). These are, however, purely cosmetic and do not affect the sound. Included in the sale are: • Original tuning key • Electronic tuner • Dust cover • 8 harp music books • 14 spare strings Teifi harps are renowned for their craftsmanship, and well-kept examples are becoming increasingly sought after. This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a beautiful Welsh-made instrument that has many years of music still to give. I am only selling because my path has taken me in a different direction, and I would much rather see this lovely harp continue to be played and cherished than spend its days sitting quietly. The harp is available to view and play, and I would be delighted for prospective buyers to spend time with it before making a decision. The harp is in the north of Scotland, between Inverness and Elgin. Collection is preferred due to the nature of the instrument, although I am happy to discuss arrangements with the purchaser if they wish to organise a specialist courier.
